Found this Praying Mantis in the yard today. Isn't she gorgeous?
Note: Females have 6 segments composing the abdomen, Males have 8.

My favorite fact about the praying mantis is that the females (besides having less abdomen segments, which I didn't know and is weird) bite off (and eat) the heads of the males...I wonder why?
